50 Golden Balloon Release

YPAS’s final event marking our 50th Birthday celebrations was a 50 Golden Balloon release at Albert Dock. The event marks the end of our year long celebrations to highlight 50 years of providing support to the young people of Liverpool. Reaching 50 years is significant for YPAS and the city as it allows continuity of important work done with services across health, education and social care to give young people a better life.

This year has been a true celebration for YPAS in terms of mile stones and we’ve reached a lot in 50 years, especially in the last ten. Here’s to the next 50 years!!

I worked with Emily. I enjoyed talking about what's going on in my life whilst it is being fun, it's never 'there's something wrong', it's always 'how do we help you' which I like. Emily is amazing, she's helped me so much and she's just a lovely person!!!

YPAS was the first organisation that took me in and also the quickest, Sonia helped me get through a very difficult stage in my life and has bettered me as a person. I feel better equipped to deal with situations in life and my mental health has improved overall because of it.

I felt progression and I found my strength and resilience through the sessions. I am proud of myself for staying strong and showing my commitment through the past months of my sessions. I also gained a handful of coping strategies and I maintained my balance by controlling my worries.
