On 1st August young people from YPAS spent the day working with visiting international students from all over USA as part of a project called Experiment in International Living. The workshop, “We are far more united than the things that divide us” challenged participants to explore issues that matter to them and share their vision for positive change. These ideas were shared in the afternoon through a Zine making workshop with Comics Youth and the young people looked forward to the next day when the group had arranged a Q and A session with MP Dan Carden and Cllr Harry Doyle.
This was an brilliant event over two days for young people to collaborate and celebrate their hopes and plans for the future, as well as understanding more about political processes and making a connection with political leaders.
