Calling all LGBTQIA+ performers aged 16-25, based in and around Liverpool! This autumn, from 7th September (every Wednesday, 6pm-8pm), in collaboration with GYRO we’ll be running a theatre group for young LGBTQIA people.
We are looking for singers, dancers, and actors to help make and perform a dynamic, activist, and FABULOUS piece of theatre (a Queer Panto) which will be performed at the Unity Theatre on Monday 7th November.
These session are run by associate artist Ashleigh Owen (HIP HIP I’M GAY, ROYAL COURT), and the team at GYRO YPAS.

We’re so happy to announce our new partnership with Bruntwood.
After an amazing summer for Young Homotopia we’re so pleased that Bruntwood are supporting us to bring you Young Homotopia – The Festival Edition. The new partnership has created the capacity for us to host a year-round programme of arts across the Liverpool city region.
Kelly McNair, community manager at Bruntwood Works, said: “Young Homotopia is an ambitious arts project that aims to empower individuals from an underrepresented community and create a region-wide group of LGBTQIA young people that is dynamic, positive and creative.
“We hope to help the organisation expand its valuable work and engage a wider range of opportunities to support young people’s mental health, allow them to learn a variety of skills and provide services that they may not otherwise be able to access easily in their lives.”
