Children’s Mental Health Week 2023

January 23, 2023

No child or young person should have to face mental health problems on their own. We’re proud to be supporting and celebrating this years #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek

Liverpool CAMHS partners have a busy programme of engaging events and activities for families and professionals to get involved with.

The annual NOW Festival takes place 6-9th February. This year the team has partnered with the Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership, and young people from across the Liverpool City Region will be sharing their voices on how this ‘Now’ issue impacts mental health.

The theme is mental health and violence prevention. From racism, sexual harassment, online abuse, homophobic abuse, hate crime, and many more topics that will be explored, we will be hearing what children and young people have to say about this subject.

The Liverpool WSA Partnership encourages people to connect with others in healthy, rewarding, and meaningful ways. Working in partnership with Seedlings, Mental Health Support Team practitioners and the LFC Foundations, they will be delivering a series of live, interactive sessions:

Our very own SEEDLING practitioners are working in partnership, with Mental Health Support Team practitioners delivering a series of live, interactive sessions on Tuesday 7th February

  • Liverpool FC Foundation on Wednesday, 8th February
  • YogaBugs on Thursday, 9th February
  • There will also be a special yoga session for school staff on Wednesday 8th, February so gather your teams in the hall for a relaxing session with YogaBugs.
