Yesterday, Tuesday 10th October was World Mental Health Day and this years theme was ‘Mental health is a universal human right’. World Mental Health Day raises awareness and drives positive change for everyone’s mental health.
Here at YPAS we are committed to improving young people’s, children’s and families wellbeing and mental health across Merseyside.
What did YPAS get up to for World Mental Health Day?
Yesterday, we held Tea & Talk sessions for young people, children and families which included a variety of activities:
• A ‘wall of self-care ideas’
• Self-care journals
• Mindful artwork
• Stress balls
• Encouraging conversations around mental health
Some of our staff, also, come into work wearing yellow for #HelloYellow day, to stand out and show up for young people’s mental health.
