The Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition (CYPMHC) surveyed 2000 adults to gauge public opinion on the priorities around children’s mental health as a political priority.
The findings showed that improving mental health was the most significant issue people aged 18-24 years want to see addressed for children and young people and over half (59%) of respondents believe that political leaders have not done enough to support children and young people’s mental health over the last decade.
These findings indicate an urgent case for change. It is vital that whoever forms the new Government commits to action, to shape a better tomorrow for babies, children, and young people.
