Radio City’s Mental Health Monday Marathon

January 8, 2018

24 hour live show broadcast from Liverpool’s iconic Radio City Tower was a huge success! On Monday 15th January 2018, award winning journalist Mick Coyle embarked on an unprecedented challenge to tackle the stigma around mental health with a full day’s worth of radio broadcasting to shine a light on the issue.

He was joined by special guests, politicians and mental health service providers to open the lid on mental health, exploring why it’s still seen as a taboo subject and what can be done to improve services across the UK. YPAS were delighted to take part in the show and join Mick in the Studio

Mental health champion Jake Mills (YPAS Trustee) was with Mick throughout the 24 hour challenge which was the biggest ever radio show of its kind and the biggest undertaking in the history of Bauer News.
