Our Counselling and Psychotherapy Service provides a wide range of therapeutic interventions that are designed to help you address those issues that are impacting on your mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Individual Therapy

1:1 Therapy for 11-25-year-olds

Talking to a trained person on your own, therapists are people who really listen. You can share your problems with our therapists and they will help you make sense of what’s going on. They will also give you the time and space to express what it really feels like.


Therapeutic services in Liverpool’s primary schools

Based in over 100 Liverpool Primary Schools, the Seedlings team works with children to explore and process feelings that are troubling them and develop confidence in expressing themselves. To refer a child for Seedlings therapy please contact your school’s mental health lead and / or contact us on 0151 707 1025 to speak with member of our clinical admin team.


Domestic Abuse Therapy Service

Referred directly from the early help hub.

Wings – Domestic Abuse Therapy service provides therapy to children and young people (8-18 years old) who have been affected by the impact of domestic abuse in the family home. Children and young people who use the service are referred directly from the early help hub and have completed an Early Help Assessment Tool (EHAT) with their carers.

Healthy Beginnings

Programme to support young people to develop healthy relationships.

Healthy Beginnings is a program delivered by specialist domestic abuse therapists and well-being practitioners who deliver ‘Healthy Beginnings’ assemblies in Liverpool secondary schools.

Session includes topics on: healthy relationships, safety planning, awareness raising of unhealthy relationships and biological and physiological impact of domestic abuse.

We also deliver 6-week programmes, these sessions are held in our community hubs and can be facilitated in schools if requested, dependant on capacity of the team.


Youth Justice Therapy Service

Referred directly from the Liaison Diversion Team Mersey Care.

Quest – The Youth Justice Therapy Service provides therapeutic support to young people who are at risk of becoming involved in the criminal justice system. Referrals are directly made into YPAS via the Liaison Diversion Team Mersey Care.

Spinning World - YPAS

Therapeutic services for refugees & asylum seekers

Spinning World is a specialist therapeutic service for young people who have experienced trauma in their country of origin or on their journey to the UK, are seeking asylum or have refugee status and are aged 14-25yrs. Spinning World provides culturally sensitive trauma informed therapeutic interventions to facilitate healing and resilience. Therapists can work alongside interpreters to support young people with little or no English language to enhance the therapeutic journey and relationship if this is required.
