What is Smarty’s?

Smarty’s is an open access group for primary school aged children. Smarty’s provides a secure, happy and stimulating environment.

About Smarty’s

Smarty’s offers a wide range of activities including creative play, sport, fun and games etc. There is also a small snack provided during the group.

How will this service help me?

Attending Smarty’s will help you to meet and make new friends, take part in fun activities and keep happy and healthy.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and learn new ones in an enjoyable and friendly environment. 

Staff are always on hand to help and can support you with any problems you may be having.

FAQs

How can I join the group? +
A registration pack needs to be completed.

Parents / carers can call in to the Hub before the group starts between 3.45 – 4pm to complete or can contact the North hub on 0151 305 2040 or the South hub on 0151 305 2030 to arrange an appointment with a member of staff.
What time does the group start and finish and what days is it open? +
Smarty’s runs every Wednesday and Thursday during term time, starting at 4pm and ending at 5.45pm.

The group also runs during school holidays 10 – 2pm on a Wednesday and Thursday. There is often an additional session on a Friday.
Do parents need to stay with their child / children? +
No, the group is for children only.
Is there a tuck shop? +
No, a snack and drinks are provided free of charge during the session.
Do you have to pay to come to the group? +
No, attendance is free of charge.
